Hello,

I realize that when someone starts the ordering process but doesn't go to the end of it (so they stop when they get the order summary, a new order is already created with status "new" in my dashboard.

Is there any configuration to avoid this ? I don't want to receive anything on my backend dashboard until the person clicks the submit button

Stephane,

maintaining accurate order status tracking is crucial, as it enables you to monitor both successful and unsuccessful orders. This way, you can make informed adjustments and ensure smoother operations for future transactions.

There is no setting in J2Commerce to avoid the creation of orders if they don't get through, and I doubt we will implenent it, for the reasons I gave you above.
