Hi there

The sort order of products in the J2Commerce dashboard is set to list oldest product first. I have clicked on the 'Product ID' to change the sort order and it does not work. So to see newly listed items one has to navigate through the older products first. I hope you can help with this. Thank you.

Please add your website credentials into the secure fields for this ticket so I can help you with this. This is most likely not an issue with the code, rather the settings themselves so once you have added the login credentials, I can get this straightened out for you.

I looked at settings but could not find anything, I am sure it is there somewhere! Thanks so much for your help on this.

The sort order is usually controlled at the menu level so under the Porcelain & Ceramics menu for example > Common Options :
Article Order  (Should be set to Most Recent First)
Date for Ordering (Whichever you prefer - if you want newly updated products to show at the top again, then select Modified, otherwise depending on whether you prefer the created date or the published date, is what that menu item will use to sort the products the way you prefer.

Hope this helps and please let me know if this is not what you were looking for...

Hi Adam

Thank you for the super speedy reply.

The sort order in the front end is not the problem. I understand the sort order on the front end is controlled by the menu item settings.

It is the sort order in the J2Commerce admin dashboard, it is stuck on oldest first. (J2Commerce > Catalog > Products). I am sorry I was not clear about this.

Thanks for your support.
