I am having issues with the layout of the cart page in Joomla 5 with Yootheme Pro

in that, the buttons to add or delete quantities sit on top of the cart table and not beside it

is this a known problem and how can I fix it, I would like it after the cart item

Gerald,

I jumped in and took a look at your settings and it looks like the show Qty Field in the Product Tab of the J2Commerce configuration was set to No - this hides the input fields in general plus in the cart. You can also control the display of the quantity input fields on the menu level depending on what you are selling. I set this to Yes and the input field to adjust their quantity now appears as it should in the cart.

I will look into this to see if this is something that affects everybody - but in your case, you should be good to go.

I specifically hid the qty field from the category pages as I was using a variable item and did not need to have quantities

It was the view carts page, however, I have since this morning worked out that I needed to use Bootstrap 3 instead of 5 for the cart page to display properly

It also speeded up the whole site as it was prolonged before.

I do not know if this is a Yootheme issue or a j2commerce issue

One other thing I noticed is that when you save an article it takes quite a few seconds to save, so not too sure if this is again to do with j2 Commerce.

Gerald,

You can choose to hide the quantity fields at the menu level under the Common Options Tab - although unless I am missing something, I am not sure why you wouldn't want the customer to be able to order more than 1 quantity.

I suppose if BS3 "fixed" the issue, it's more that some of the css classnames that are used to hide things are still being used rather than d-none for instance. After the 4.1 release we will be focusing on  improving the front-end design and style to make life much easier for the community.

It was a request from the client to not show the quantities as he has set out the free shipping for up to a particular weight, thus using variable products for 2 or 3 items only

Also, none of his past clientele purchased more than the set-out amounts anyway

Stange I know but it was what he wants

Also, I am not using the J2 commerce menu set-up but a yootheme blog layout and just pulling the store shortcode into a builder element so there is no way to hide the quantity field that way.
