Stripe payment plugin
Hello Paul,
for Stripe, you need to ensure the plugin is enabled and that you have entered the right information into the plugin settings.
Go to System -> Manage -> plugins, type 'stripe' in the search.
Make sure you have the right information in the API/Publishable key fields (either live or test, but I would start with test).
There is some information at https://docs.j2commerce.com/j2commerce/payment-methods/stripe but we need to update it.
Olivier.
Hello Paul,
what is the version of the Stripe plugin did you download?
I cannot find the key J2STORE_SECRET_KEY_REQUIRED in any of the code I have so I would assume this is coming from old code.
Olivier.
No where can I find the version.
There is no version mentioned in the admin section however in looing in the XML file I find this. So seems it is new version.
<version>4.0.3</version>

Thank you for the screenshot Paul.
'secret' and 'license' keys are 2 different things.
The secret key id for the Stripe API to go through with proper credentials.
The license key is for the plugin to function when being a paid extension (which you do not need and we do not provide at this time, since the plugin is free).
As far as looking for the version of extensions, go to System -> Manage -> Extensions. This is where you get information about the version of an extension.
You have the latest version of Stripe apparently.
Olivier.

I understand that. My Stripe keys are fine.
I get error because there is no license keys. You did not provide any information to enter into that field to satisfy the script?
Paul,
as I am trying to explain, there is no license key needed.
J2STORE_SECRET_KEY_REQUIRED is not a problem with a license key. It is a problem with the API secret key.
Could you please add credential information to this ticket so I can check your configuration? Thank you!
Olivier.
I got it fixed.
My own dumb error I had transposed the secret with public keys.
Doh!
I though that could be it! Glad it is sorted out!
Olivier.
