I am in the process of building a community platform that will allow community members (artists, etc) to list and sell products on our storefront and am investigating all the Joomla store extensions.
I had discarded J2 store as a possibility because it was being sunsetted but have just read your article in the November Joomla magazine (I've been busy :))
I had decided to go with Hikashop as they have a multivendor solution but would rather support you guys into the future especially as hikashop are a bit slow to upgrade as well over the years.
I know you are super busy right now and don't want to add pressure but was wondering if it's on your roadmap at all to add multi-vendor capability at some point and then make it so it can be financially managed via Stripe Connect.I think I can see (before testing) a way to use the article to product functionality you have as a way to allow individuall artists to have individual pages/categories in the store but just wanted an indication from you if this would be a possible later development, particularly the multi-vendor payments. As its an NFP, we don't have the dollars to spend a lot of time every month managing people's payouts however we are prepared to wait a while as you find your feet with the new product and get it solidly upgraded, etc
