Hello, we have some sites with J2Store Version 3 Professional and joomla 3. I found documentation to migrate to Joomla 4 with j2store 4. But you don't develope J2Store anymore. So can i migrate from j2 store to j2commerce, without setting the store new. Thank you very much for your answer. We want to give our clients a longer lasting solution.

Thank you for reaching out. We are still in the awkward transition stage from j2store to j2commerce so we apologize for any confusion this has caused. We have continued the j2store project so updating your current j2store to j2commerce is as simple as installing the latest version on top of your current version (once you are on Joomla 4/5). In your case, you can use the updated migration tool to help you migrate your older j2store sites. Make sure you have J2Store V4 extensions to replace the Joomla 3 versions as those older extensions won't work on a Joomla 4/5 site. If there are any questions about whether a payment,shipping, or other J2Store app is compatible, please don't hesitate to ask (and if it's a vital item, create a new ticket with us so we can push it up the list to get it updated.
