First off - really happy that someone is taking over for J2Store and am hoping that I'll be able to stay with it as lately I've been looking into other options.
I've been stuck on J2Store and Joomla 3 as a few extensions I use just werent available and needed.
Advanced Variable Products (where I can add text boxes for people to add additional information, like a custom name on the back of a shirt)
Import and Export (advanced) - with options, group pricing, etc...
Sales Reports (single line and itemized options)
Gift Ceritificates
Paypal Payments Pro
And the big one is our Table Rate Shipping Module that is price based and can also differ based on geolocation or customer group.
Not sure if there are plans to develop those?  Any help is apprecaited as I'd really like to stay with the platform.

Craig,

We are working on getting all of the extensions updated. I will work on advanced variable, and the others listed as soon as possible. We are hoping by the end of the year to have most of the extensions migrated over.

Hope this brings some peace of mind to help close out the year.

Adam,

Thanks for the update - it's like a weight was lifted off my chest and I'm excited I don't have to leave the platform as it's been great.

I just watched the YouTube segment that You and Olivier did on Joomla! London and I'm REALLY excited about all the features you talked about and the previews that were shown.  The new advanced variable product you showed from the B-Tek website looks like a game changer for me.  It seems to be a mix of a Configurable Product (with Parent options) and Advanced Variable - I hope this will be available because it will solve quite a few problems for me and the store I work on.

Thank you so much!  Really excited for the future of J2Commerce

Craig,

I'd love to check out your site. Throw the link in here if you don't mind.

The advanced variable plugin you saw in the video has been massively updated and while many of those updates can be added, our first priority is getting the rest of the extensions updated so sotes like yours can migrate to Joomla 4/5 and enjoy the new visual and code updates in J2Store/J2Commerce v4.

I believe I have already updated the other plugins you mentioned except PayPal Pro so will relook at those later today to see if we can get these ones ready for you and the community as well.

I've got a lot of work to do as we've been limping along with Joomla 3, but here's the site. Nothing fancy about it but it works for what we need.  Now that I know we'll be able to stick with J2store, I'll be planning out a re-design and especially focus on the menu, which is getting overblown at this point.  I tried the one page checkout also, but for some reason it wouldn't work.  We use Gantry5, which I think may have been causing issues.  Here's the site -

Been working on updating everything to migrate to Joomla 4 and J2Commerce 4.  My biggest problem now is that we use a third party photo gallery, which won't be compatibale with Joomla 4, so I have to change everything over to another 3rd Party gallery.  Unfortunately, the built in photo/product images and gallery doesn't work for us......

Going through my extensions - will Table Rate Shipping be availabe in J2Commerce 4?  That's the only shipping module we use (beside Free Shipping).

Sales Reports - (both itemized and single line total) is another one we use that I didn't see available yet.

We also had an "IMPORT J2STORE PRODUCTS" which we could import/export Products / Options / Advanced Pricing, etc....will this be available also, or is RO CSVI being suggested as a replacement?  If RO CSVI is suggested, is that suggested for the Sales Report extension also.

Lastly - Paypal is really pushing us to move to Paypal Payments Advanced, away from Paypal Pro.  Is it best to wait to upgrade to 4 or try an get a version that works with 3, implement now and upgrade when we migrate?

Thanks!

Craig,

We are almost done with the Table Rate Shipping extension and I can move the PayPal Payments plugin up the list.  For managing existing products, you can use the J2C Import extension, but if you are needing import new products and all of their attributes, I would recommend RO CSVI.

I would not use this for the Sales Report, but the good news is we are also almost done with that as well.
