maybe it is already planned but I would like to offer the opportunity to purchase a product and send it as a gift to another person.
I know you can add a different shipping address and I know there is the “Gift Card / Certificates” app, but I would prefer that at checkout the user can select a checkbox “This is a gift” and fill in a text field with a message for the gift recipient who then gets an email notification with the subject line “Mr. XXX has kindly given you the product YY ...” and in the message the text written by the customer an other order details (not the price, of course).
This way it is clear that it is a gift and the recipient does not have to use any vouchers, does not have to purchase, register, etc.

Do you think this might be a good idea?
