Hi,

I would love to you J2 Commerce to set up ecommerce stores in Canada but I need the Canada Post option for shipping. Our country is so large that it is time intensive to setup shipping for regions or distances with all the different postage choices out also. Canada Post has an API that can be used within software so that all of these costs are automatic. LOL when the company is not on strike! :( Would this be something that could be updated soon? I'm working on a project right now and I was wondering if I could set it up with J2 commerce or if I am going to wait to use it on my next project. :)

Hello Tristina!

I can see that there was a Canada Post for J2Store 3 available. I will ask Adam if we do have it at hand. When we do not have a plugin, we rely on users having old plugins created for J2Store 3, as we do not have access to all that was available prior to J2Store change of ownership.

Whenever there is a need and we do have the J2Store 3 version, we usually go ahead and fix it to make it work under J2Store 4.

I can see in the old documentation that the API is dated 2012, there is a chance that the API has changed since, but it is something that needs to be confirmed.

We are really happy to see that you are thinking of J2Commerce for your next project!

I will hand it to Adam for confirmation about the plugin.

I currently don't have a Canada Post shipping plugin from J3, but we can ask in Mattermost if any other users may have it so we can quickly migrate it over for your upcoming project.
